Guide Pins - Metric

Metric Guide Pins are precision made of high quality steel and are hardened and finished ground to close tolerances. The shoulder diameter is of the same size and tolerance to mate with the OD of the standard metric shoulder bushings. This combination enables mould makers to line-bore the leader pin and bushing holes.

DME Guide Pins include standard and shoulder guide pins. They are precision made of high quality steel that are hardened and finished ground to close tolerances.

Leader Pins - Metric

DME Pins are available in both METRIC and IMPERIAL sizes. They are
precision made from high quality steel and are hardened and finished
ground to close tolerances. These factors enable the Toolmaker to inline
bore the guide pin and bush hole simultaneously. Special pins can also be
custom made in a large range of diameters and lengths to suit most mould
applications.

Angle Pins - Metric

DME Metric Angle Pins are precision made of high quality steel that are hardened and finished ground to close tolerances. They are supplied with a pre-machined spherical radius on the head to eliminate angle grinding usually required on the pin head.

Guide Pin Bushings - Metric

DME Bushes are made from the finest quality alloy steels. They are hardened and precision ground to reduce wear, giving a longer life under severe moulding or diecasting conditions. The I.D is ground to close tolerances in order to maintain a smooth, but firm running fit together with DME pins.

The DME Self Lubricating Bushes are made from aluminium alloy with oil impregnated graphite plugs which is ideal for clean room conditions or any applications where the parts being moulded prohibit the use of external lubricants, such as medical electronic and food related products. Their built in lubrication capability also makes them a perfect choice for fast cycling and high production moulds.
